广东省造光绪元宝库平重壹两银币是中国近代机制币中的珍品，银币铸于光绪三十一年（1905年），据传是为庆祝慈禧太后七十寿辰而特别铸造的纪念币。正面以珠圈为界，珠圈内铸有满、汉文“光绪元宝”四字，珠圈外上端镌“广东省造”四字，下端镌“库平重壹两”五字，左右两侧各铸一蝙蝠图案。蝙蝠的“蝠”字与“福”字谐音，寓意“福寿双全”。背面珠圈内铸有一圆形“寿”字，珠圈外铸有双龙戏珠图案，龙鳞细腻，纹理清晰，工艺精湛。广东省造光绪元宝库平重壹两银币存世量极为稀少，因其铸造量有限且多为官方赠送，民间流通较少。这使得它在钱币收藏界备受追捧，成为众多收藏家梦寐以求的珍品。The Guangdong Province Guangxu Yuan Treasure Treasury Pingzhong One Tael Silver Coin is one of the treasures of modern Chinese mechanism coins, the silver coin was minted in the 31st year of Guangxu (1905), and is said to be a commemorative coin specially minted to celebrate the 70th birthday of the Empress Dowager Cixi. The front is bounded by the bead circle, the bead circle is cast with the four words of full, Chinese "Guangxu ingot", the upper end of the bead circle is engraved with the four words of "made in Guangdong Province", the lower end is engraved with the five words of "Kuping Heavy One Two", and the left and right sides are each cast with a bat pattern. The word "bat" of the bat is homophonic with the word "fu", which means "blessing and longevity". There is a circular "longevity" word cast in the bead circle on the back, and the double dragon play bead pattern is cast outside the bead circle, the dragon scales are delicate, the texture is clear, and the craftsmanship is exquisite. The amount of silver coins made in Guangdong Province is extremely rare, because of its limited minting and most of them are official gifts, and there is little private circulation.
