此套五爪七龙椅用名贵的金丝楠木镶嵌新疆和田玉打造，并镶嵌有玉石，表面雕刻有龙纹，显示出皇家的尊贵和威严。木纹细腻，色泽温润，散发出淡淡的自然香气，极其庄严奢华。椅子的扶手、搭脑和腿部都巧妙地采用了传统榫卯结构，稳固耐用。椅子的靠背设计成圆弧状，微微向后倾斜，完美贴合人体坐姿的背倾角。背板中部镶嵌着精致的玉龙纹图案，雕刻工艺精湛，龙纹栩栩如生，寓意着吉祥如意和权力地位，然而康熙帝在清朝稳定后，废除除皇帝本人御用外不允许再有五爪龙。这套五爪七龙椅也退出历史，从此流落民间被商贾官宦私下藏匿幸而得以留存。座面采用四角攒边框平镶独板，座下设罗锅枨接矮佬，稳固而舒适。整套椅子线条流畅，造型优美，既有古代家具的典雅韵味，又不失现代家居的实用功能。无论是收藏还是自用，都是一件难得的艺术珍品，90年代初期，此套五爪七龙椅重新出现在民间，当时拥有此套座椅的主人在了解此套座椅历史后由H人指点便斥巨资在印度寺庙中求得雷惊菩提木树雕刻观音菩萨即菩萨心经伴随龙椅直至今日。此椅由两椅一几组成，造型舒展而凝重，卷书式搭脑从靠背中突起，卷书微向两边伸展，整料手工雕刻制作。靠背及扶手雕饰文绮，靠背板浮雕云纹，中间镶嵌和田青玉龙，一鳞半甲，雕工精湛，隽永耐看，纹饰亦带有祥意。座面攒W装板而成，边抹冰盘沿上舒下敛。座下束腰作打洼处理，腿、牙与束腰以抱肩榫相接。腿足鼓腿彭牙，中部突出雕锼云纹，起伏略大，颇有开门见山之意味，腿足内翻马蹄，足底表面饰以回纹。整器圆浑，气质沉穆。茶几器型风格与扶手椅相似，此三件套不吝用材，起线之精美，工艺之精湛，观者自知，三件成套，珠联璧合，令人感慨。This set of five-clawed seven-dragon chairs is made of precious golden silk nanmu inlaid with Xinjiang Hetian jade, and inlaid with jade, and the surface is carved with dragon patterns, showing the royal dignity and majesty.
