硯臺是一種傳統的文房四寶之一，主要用於磨墨寫字。此兩方端硯質地細膩，摸上去手感如嬰兒肌膚，研墨時“貯水不耗、發墨不損毫”，且有獨特石紋，整個硯臺因石構圖，因材施藝，採用隨形雕琢，主要有深刀（高深雕）與淺刀（低浮雕）雕刻，還有細刻、線刻，工藝精緻、刻工纖巧。一方圖案為池塘情趣，枯荷垂首，蓮蓬低語，一只翠鳥凝望水面，仿佛在閱讀時光寫就的秋日信箋。另一方圖案為松峰日出，危崖托起赤輪，流雲淬成胭脂色，一松一屋於岩骨崢嶸處，將浮世釘入永恆的畫框。這兩方端硯不僅是文人墨客情感的寄託，更是精美絕倫的藝術品，是值得大家去收藏的珍品。 Inkstone is one of the traditional Four Treasures of the Study, mainly used for grinding ink and writing. These two end inkstones have a delicate texture and feel like baby skin to the touch. One pattern depicts the charm of a pond, with withered lotus flowers hanging down, lotus pods whispering, and a emerald bird gazing at the water surface, as if reading autumn letters written by time. On the other hand, the pattern depicts the sunrise on a pine peak, with red wheels supported by dangerous cliffs, and flowing clouds tempered into a crimson color. One pine tree and one house stand on the rugged rocks, nailing the floating world into an eternal frame.
