Shaped as a tripod washer with string patterns on the body, it boasts a simple, neat form that embodies the understated elegance of Song aesthetics. Clad in Ru Kiln’s iconic sky-blue glaze, the surface glows like polished jade and is covered with fine cicada-wing crackles—a classic realization of the poetic Ru description "the hue of sky after rain when clouds break". Resting on three feet, the exposed unglazed areas reveal the characteristic incense-ash body and tiny support marks, conforming to Ru Kiln’s signature full-foot support firing technique. With extremely few Ru pieces surviving today, this intact specimen holds supreme historical, artistic and collection value, standing as a rare gem for Ru Kiln connoisseurs.
