本品为北宋汝窑玉壶春瓶，S形曲线秀逸端雅，通体天青釉色莹润如玉，蝉翼开片疏朗有致。底有五枚支钉，露香灰胎骨，乃汝窑“裹足满釉”之典型。器不琢纹，全凭釉色与形制，凝练宋人清雅尚简之美，为传世汝窑中罕睹之隽品。This Yuhuchun Ping (a vase shape whose name evokes a wine vessel and whose form is often likened to a pear or a graceful female figure) is a classic example of Ru ware, celebrated for its elegant S-shaped curve, which embodies a sense of serene nobility. The entire body is covered in a sky-blue glaze ( Tianqing You ), possessing a moist, translucent quality reminiscent of fine jade. The glaze exhibits fine, sparse crackles often compared to cicada wings. The base, revealing the fine, ash-gray clay body characteristic of Ru ware, bears five minute spur marks. This is a hallmark of the mantou zhu(wrapped-foot) technique, where the piece was fired on spurs to allow the base to be fully glazed. Devoid of carved or painted decoration, the piece relies entirely on the sublime harmony of its form and glaze for its beauty, crystallizing the Song dynasty aesthetic of refined simplicity and understated elegance. It stands as a exceptionally rare and superb masterpiece among extant Ru wares.
