Raised ridges are crafted along the folded edge and mouth rim, forming two neat concentric circles. It has a shallow ring foot and was fired with full glazing supported by spurs. As a high-grade artifact, Jun kiln ware is characterized by a sky-blue glaze base, tinged with grey, exuding an understated elegance and composure reminiscent of the archaic jades from the Warring States and Han dynasties. The two ridges display the yellow hue of the protective slip, as if inlaying two golden rims on the plate. The entire piece is coated in a moon-white glaze, with colors blending and diffusing softly. Similar examples of this plate are part of the collections of major museums around the world. The market value of Yuan dynasty Jun kiln plates varies drastically, ranging from several hundred thousand to several million yuan.
