秦半两上星下月为秦代半两钱珍稀记号版，外圆内方，青铜质地，钱文小篆朴拙浑厚。方孔正上方饰点状星纹，下方缀弯月形凸起，属铸范标记或炉次暗记，亦合古时天圆地方宇宙观。其存世量远少于普通秦半两，品相完好者极具收藏价值，是秦钱收藏界热门珍品。The Ban Liang coin of the Qin Dynasty with a dot above and a crescent below is a rare marked variety of Qin Ban Liang coins. Featuring a circular outer shape and a square inner hole, it is made of bronze, and the small seal script inscribed on it is simple, unsophisticated and vigorous. A dot-shaped star pattern is decorated directly above the square hole, and a crescent-shaped protrusion is attached below it. These marks were either mould marks or furnace identifiers, and they also conform to the ancient cosmic concept of "the sky is round and the earth is square". Its existing quantity is far less than that of ordinary Qin Ban Liang coins. Well-preserved specimens are of extremely high collection value and rank as highly sought-after treasures in the field of Qin coin collection.
