More than just simple currency, they carry profound historical memories. The inscriptions on all the Lesser Five Emperors' Coins are rendered in regular script. Among them, the characters on the Shunzhi coins are bold and forceful, embodying the unique historical and cultural heritage of the Qing Dynasty. The Kangxi Tongbao coins had an enormous mintage and a wide circulation range.
