《清代风格铁力木雕龙架子床》清式硬木家具之华范，清中期铁力木为宅第硬木重器之材，架子床承明式床具之制而趋华缛，雕龙架床属清式家具 “工巧尚华” 之典，彰彼时家具文脉之重。此床作攒框式，床围采 “攒边打槽” 法镶透雕板，铁力木肌理坚致合 “愈老愈坚” 之征；床围深浮雕龙纹取 “剔地起突” 法，龙首威姿，鳞甲层叠显 “叠雕” 之效，云纹攒蹙成 “锦地纹” 之缜。床柱取圆材满雕，肌理勾连若 “盘虬缠枝” 之态，合 “通体雕作” 之制；床座打洼束腰，“鼓腿彭牙” 式足足底内翻，循清式家具矩度；牙板满雕卷草龙纹，与床围纹饰相衔，尽得 “章法通体” 之要。其为清式铁力木家具 “材美工巧” 之模板，藏之可察清中期宅第家具华缛化之轨辙，实为考索清式家具文脉之珍范。A splendid model of Qing-style hardwood furniture. Ironwood was a precious material for large hardwood furniture in mid-Qing mansions; the canopy bed inherited the system of Ming-style beds yet tended to be more gorgeous and intricate. This dragon-carved canopy bed is a classic of Qing-style furniture advocating "exquisite craftsmanship and magnificence", embodying the importance of furniture cultural context in that era.Of frame-joined structure, the bed surround is inlaid with openwork panels via the edge-jointing and grooving technique, with ironwood texture firm and dense conforming to the characteristic of "harder with age". The bed surround features deep relief dragon patterns crafted with the ground-carving relief technique, the dragon head in majestic posture, scales layered to present the effect of stacked carving, and cloud patterns clustered to form meticulous brocade ground pattern.The bed pillars are round timber with full carving, the texture connected like coiled dragon winding through branches, conforming to the "full-body carving" system. The bed base has a recessed waist, with swelled legs and protruding apron feet turned inward at the bottom, abiding by Qing-style furniture norms; the apron is fully carved with scroll grass dragon patterns, connecting with the bed surround decoration to achieve the essence of overall compositional coherence.A model of "superior material and exquisite craftsmanship" among Qing-style ironwood furniture, collecting it shows the gorgeous evolution of mid-Qing mansion furniture.
