本品为明成化 黄釉绿彩龙纹梅瓶，造型秀雅，小口丰肩，线条流畅。通体施娇黄釉，釉色匀净，上以翠绿彩绘五爪行龙穿行缠枝莲云间，下饰海水江崖，黄绿相映，鲜明清丽。底落“大明成化年制”青花楷款，笔意隽秀。此器经二次烧成，工艺精湛，为成化官窑加彩之珍，釉彩相映，气韵端雅。Ming Dynasty, Chenghua Mark and Period, Yellow-Ground Green-Decorated ‘Dragon’ Meiping This meiping vase from the Chenghua reign exemplifies elegant form with its small mouth, full shoulders, and fluid silhouette. The body is covered overall with a lustrous, even yellow glaze, upon which a vibrant five-clawed dragon is depicted in emerald green, winding amidst lotus scrolls and clouds. The lower section is adorned with classic waves and mountain motifs (hai shui jiang ya), symbolizing the enduring stability of the realm. The contrast between the yellow ground and the green decoration is strikingly clear and refined. The base carries an underglaze-blue six-character Chenghua reign mark in regular script (kai shu), written with refined and graceful brushwork. This piece required a complex two-stage firing process—first a high-temperature bisque firing, followed by a lower-temperature firing for the colored glazes—demonstrating exceptional technical mastery. As a rare and exemplary work of polychrome ware from the Chenghua imperial kilns, it harmoniously blends glaze and color, embodying a dignified and elegant aesthetic, and holds significant artistic and historical value.
