中华民国三年袁大头是1914年依《国币条例》开铸的民国主流机制银币，由天津造币厂首发，后续多地分厂接续铸造。其正面为袁世凯侧面像，上列“中华民国三年”字样，无“造”字是三年版的关键特征；背面以嘉禾图案环绕，中央镌“壹圆”二字，常见直齿边设计。 The Republic of China Yuan Datou (1914) is the mainstream machine-struck silver coin of the Republic of China minted according the "Regulations on National Currency".
